About Me:
I am a Christian, a wife, and the mother of two very talented young adults. I hold a Master of Arts Professional Counseling degree from Argosy University, a BS degree with double majors in Occupational Education specializing in Psychology and Human Services specializing in Nursing Services, both from Wayland Baptist University, Hawaii campus. I also have an AAS degree in Criminal Justice. I completed my graduate internship through a faith based counseling center in Hendersonville, TN. I enjoy, theater, music, and art and I can sometimes be seen on the stage of Steeple Players Community Theater right here in Hendersonville.
Prior to completing my M.A., I have been employed as a psychiatric nurse, a children's services case manager, a substance abuse counselor, as well a resident services director for an assisted living facility. Therefore, I have experience working with clients of all ages, and from all walks of life.
In addition to my practice at Hazel Path, I currently partner with with Bradford Health Services where I work with Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse clients.
I enjoy individual, group, family, couples, and children's counseling. I also enjoy pre-marital counseling for engaged couples. In addition, I am a Certified Practitioner of Rapid Resolution Therapy for Trauma.
I believe the clients' needs and goals are of the utmost importance. I provide, safe, non-judgemental, client centered therapy. I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and walk with you as you take your journey toward spiritual, emotional, and mental health.
